Role Description

This full-time, on-site Survey Party Chief role is based in Tulsa, OK. The Survey Party Chief leads field survey crews, plans daily assignments, and ensures accurate data collection for topographic, boundary, construction, and ALTA surveys. Responsibilities include operating survey instruments, verifying field measurements, managing field notes, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and safety standards. The role also involves training and mentoring crew members, troubleshooting field challenges, and maintaining survey equipment and vehicles in good working order.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated proficiency in Land Surveying, Topographic Surveys, and ALTA Surveys.
• Experience with Building Surveying and construction staking for civil and site development projects.
• Hands-on skills using Total Station equipment and related survey instruments and data collectors.
• Strong attention to detail, spatial awareness, and ability to interpret engineering and site plans.
• Prior experience leading or supervising survey crews in the field.
• Knowledge of survey standards, field procedures, and applicable local and state regulations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or a degree in surveying, geomatics, or a related field is preferred.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, planners, and other team members.
