The candidate will conduct preliminary studies to support cost estimates, assist with surveying applications, and train junior technicians while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of surveying principles, practices, procedures, quality control, and legal principles.
• Ability to complete survey-related research and make independent judgments on survey issues.
• Knowledge of engineering design and construction practices.
• Experience with Trimble equipment and CADD/CIM software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred, including relevant college-level CADD/CIM coursework.
• Surveyor in Training (S.I.T.) credential preferred.
• Seven or more years of job-related experience with increasing responsibility and demonstrated ability to work independently.
