The Survey Party Chief will lead field survey teams on the I-95 MM 0-8 Project. This position plays a key role in supporting civil engineering and construction initiatives, including roadway, bridge, utility, and site development work. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in land surveying, a hands-on leadership style, and the technical skills to ensure precision and compliance across all field operations.
The role involves physical activities like walking, standing, bending, and climbing. Occasionally, lifting objects up to 80 pounds is required. Navigating construction sites and inspecting materials is essential. Visual discernment, color differentiation, and auditory recognition are necessary. Effective communication skills are required. The role demands adaptability, extended sitting, and working in varied environmental conditions, including night shifts and active traffic situations.
