Survey Party Chief - Austin, TX

Halff has a current opening for a Survey Party Chief in our Austin, TX location.

This position involves leading a two or three-person survey crew to perform field surveys efficiently and accurately, supporting land development, transportation, utility, energy, and land surveying projects using conventional, GPS, or terrestrial laser scanning methods.

Survey Party Chief Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Party Chief performing topographic surveys, TxDOT, ALTA, boundary surveys, or construction staking.
• Experience with Trimble or Leica GPS and conventional survey equipment is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy, with minimal room for error.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependability and responsibility regarding punctuality and attendance.
• Availability to work starting at 6:30 AM, Monday through Friday.
• Overtime and weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Travel may be required, up to two weeks at a time, approximately 50% of the time.
