Job summary

Duininck is seeking a Manager of Survey, Modeling & Machine Control Systems to oversee surveying, modeling, machine control, and quantity management across Texas projects. You will manage the Surveying Department, supervise field survey personnel, and ensure operations support safe, efficient, and accurate project execution.

The role requires coordinating resources, developing project models, maintaining machine control systems, and driving continuous improvement across surveying processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in surveying, modeling, or related construction technology preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with machine control systems are preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of surveying and modeling experience is an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Carlson Survey/CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and coordinate surveying on all Duininck Texas projects.
• Develop and maintain project survey models using industry software.
• Ensure survey equipment and machine control systems are identified, maintained, and updated.
• Support estimating in pre-bid quantity take-offs and assessments.
• Reconcile job production quantities with project take-offs.
• Travel to job sites; perform field surveys and related duties.
• Collaborate with Project Managers on quantity info and change orders as needed.
