Job summary

Rick Engineering Company in Riverside, CA seeks a Survey Mapping Manager to lead the Survey Mapping Team on major land development and public works projects across Southern CA. You will oversee scope, schedule, and budget, perform QA reviews, and pursue new survey opportunities with clients while mentoring staff and coordinating with Field Chief to maintain timelines.

Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of survey-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility.
Licensed Professional Land Surveyor in California preferred or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Outgoing and organized with strong project and operational management skills.

Responsibilities

Perform survey-related research, boundary analysis, calculations, exhibits, and legal descriptions for land development and public works projects in Southern CA.
Prepare and oversee final maps, parcel maps, record of survey and ALTA maps.
Prepare and oversee legal descriptions and boundary plats, and boundary analysis.
Coordinate with Field Chief to maintain project schedules and deliverables.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, schedule, and budget.
Develop new leads and opportunities with current and prospective clients.
Attend client meetings and conduct quality control reviews/audits.
