Job summary

Carmichael Development is seeking a skilled Surveyor to join our construction teams across the southeastern U.S. You will conduct land and site surveys, collect precise data, and ensure accurate layouts for multiple projects using Leica GPS systems.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in land surveying, the ability to read blueprints, and a disciplined approach to safety and documentation while collaborating with project managers and field crews on time-sensitive schedules.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Leica GPS surveying systems is required.
• Experience in land surveying, preferably in construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and topographic maps.
• Strong knowledge of survey methodologies, data collection, and processing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land and construction site surveys using Leica GPS equipment.
• Measure distances, angles, elevations, and positions to determine land boundaries and construction layouts.
• Interpret and analyze survey data, blueprints, and technical plans.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure accurate site positioning.
• Record and maintain detailed survey data and reports for project documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines during all survey activities.
• Adjust and calibrate survey instruments as needed to maintain accuracy.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting accurate data, and ensuring precise measurements for construction projects. Proficiency in Leica GPS systems is required for this role.
