TYPSA US in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Survey Instrument Technician to operate and maintain precision surveying equipment in the field, collecting accurate data for boundary retracement, topographic mapping, ALTA surveys, and construction staking. Under supervision of a Land Surveyor, you will contribute to project success.
Applicants should have a high school diploma and 3–5 years of field surveying experience, with proficiency in Trimble GPS and total stations.

Under the supervision of a Land Surveyor, the Survey Instrument Technician operates and maintains precision surveying equipment to collect accurate field data. This role supports surveys of all types, including precise control networks, topographic mapping, aerial targeting, boundary retracement, ALTA Surveys, and construction staking. Primarily in the field, performing boundary, topographic, and construction surveys.
Will need the ability to establish rapport quickly with others working on the same project, and be able to promote a positive team environment. Working knowledge of dealing with a diverse population while using tact, diplomacy, and respect.
