Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Instrument Person to join our survey crew in Holmdel, NJ. The role supports field surveys, operates Total Stations, GPS and data collectors, and prepares job sites for surveying.

You will assist the Crew Chief, upload data, maintain equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed while traveling to sites as required. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

  • High School/GED or equivalent.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Valid Driver’s license may be required.
  • Demonstrate basic organizational skills and prioritizing skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of surveying practices and equipment.
  • Ability to effectively operate/handle surveying equipment.
  • Travel required occasionally, must be able to drive for long periods of time.
  • Read, write, and understand English to comprehend written job-related communications and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining equipment and stocking the survey vehicle.
  • Maintain, load and stock all supplies in the truck.

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an Instrument Person to join our survey crew in Holmdel, NJ!

Join our Survey/Geospatial team, which offers a full range of survey and geospatial data and mapping services that enable us to collect data faster, safer, and more accurately than ever before. Requires a pre-employment drug screen and will require ongoing participation in the employer's random drug and alcohol testing program.

Compensation: $22.00 to $28.00 per hour (depending on qualifications)
