Halff is seeking a Survey Technician I in Fort Worth, TX, to join our growing team. The role emphasizes organizing field data, reducing observations, and preparing drafts under the supervision of a licensed surveyor. The candidate will contribute to boundary analyses and TxDOT projects, with opportunities for ownership in the firm.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of survey experience and are proficient in producing maps, plats, and legal descriptions. Certification is a plus but not required.

What You Will Do

• Organizing survey research for field to include deeds, plats, and easements.
• Reducing field observations.
• Preparing data for drafting.
• Preparing legal descriptions.
• Assisting the RPLS by preparing Survey Reports.

What You Will Need

• 1-3 years of experience as a Survey Technician.

Survey Technician Preferred Requirements

• SIT or CSR I, II, or III certification is desired, but not required.
• Previous field experience as a surveyor is a plus.
• TxDOT, Electrical, or Land Development survey technician experience is a plus.
• Experience with MicroStation Open Roads Design is a plus.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center.
• High level of education is a plus (Associate's degree in Land Survey or Bachelor's degree in Land Survey and/or Geospatial Sciences).
