Survey Crew Member I - Fort Worth, TX

Halff has a current opening for a Survey Crew Member in our Fort Worth, TX location. This entry-level position requires working outdoors assisting a Land Survey crew. Survey experience is desirable but not required. The typical work week is Monday through Friday, starting at 5:45am. This position involves working overtime and traveling for up to two weeks at a time. What you will do:

• Operate robotic, conventional, and GPS survey equipment to measure topographic features and boundary evidence accurately and efficiently in support of land development, route, utility, and other land surveying projects.
• Assist the Party Chief in conducting land development, boundary, design, topographic, and ALTA surveys.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all surveying activities.
• Follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Be dependable and responsible regarding punctuality and attendance.

What you will need:

• Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and disciplined to be a positive representative for Halff and remain punctual on a consistent basis.
• Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet project deadlines.
• Ability to pass a drug and background screen.
• Travel generally is up to 50%.
