Qualifications

• EFB data collection experience preferred.

Day‑Day Responsibilities

• Assist the Crew Chief in operating a field survey crew.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, thoroughness, and regulatory compliance of work while ensuring safety and proper equipment maintenance.
• Operate equipment, maintain a safe work environment, protect and maintain equipment and vehicles, accurately collect field data and locate features.
• Travel overnight may be required.
• Walk extensively outdoors year‑round over various terrain in extreme heat and cold.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good technical skills.
• Process‑oriented behavioral traits including steadiness, helpfulness, analytical mindset, problem‑solving ability, ability to work independently, methodical, consistent, detail‑oriented, precise, and a low tolerance for mistakes.
• EFB data collection experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, acceptable motor‑vehicle record, cleared background check, and negative drug‑test result.

Preferred Skills

• 1–2 years of progressive experience in land survey field operations and proficiency with land survey equipment (total stations) and GPS.
• Self‑motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills.
