Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as an Instrument operator preferred but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, including heat and cold.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods of time.
• Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to follow written or verbal instructions.
• Must be flexible, dependable, responsible and punctual.
• Overtime and weekend work may be needed to meet deadlines.
• Travel generally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Operate robotic, conventional, and GPS survey equipment to measure features for land development, route, utility, and other surveys.
• Assist the Party Chief in conducting land development, boundary, design, topographic, and ALTA surveys.
• Ensure accuracy and precision in all surveying activities.
• Follow instructions communicated in writing or verbally.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Be dependable and punctual regarding attendance.
