Phillips Infrastructure is seeking a Surveyor Assistant to support survey operations on heavy civil construction sites in Columbia, South Carolina. The role includes assisting survey staff with layout, GPS machine control, data collection, and quality verification.

The successful candidate will have relevant construction or surveying experience and the ability to effectively communicate with project managers and engineering teams. A high school diploma is required, with additional education in surveying preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist survey staff with layout, staking, and construction progress checks.
• Support GPS machine control, field checks, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain survey logs and documentation accurately.
• Review civil plans and support field layout tasks.
