Bowman Consulting, in Bentonville, AR, seeks a Survey Director to lead the surveying function across the unit. You will supervise project teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with other departments to meet client needs while delivering the highest professional standards.

The role requires 10+ years in land surveying, a state-licensed professional surveyor, and experience with proposals, RFP responses, and business development to grow client relationships and firm profitability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of land surveying experience with at least 2 years in project management.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson surveying software.
• Licensed Professional Surveyor in the applicable state.
• Experience managing a Survey Department is preferred.
• Ability to prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, and handle billing and collections.

Responsibilities

• Lead the surveying department and provide strategic direction.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and staffing for projects.
• Oversee client relations and business development initiatives.
• Review project changes and ensure staffing stays within budget.
• Supervise survey project personnel and ensure high professional standards.
