Job summary

Patriot Surveying, LLC in Maine seeks a detail-oriented Survey Data Technician to join our office-based team supporting large-scale infrastructure and linear projects. You will be the link between field operations and client deliverables, handling daily processing and coordination of incoming survey data.

Responsibilities include using AutoCAD Civil 3D to import field codes, manage survey points, create surface models, and draft final deliverables, along with deed research and maintaining

Qualifications

  • Candidates must demonstrate strong proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and standard Microsoft Office applications.
  • Candidates must be able to work on Continental United States (CONUS) infrastructure projects.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) are mandatory.
  • Candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and a standard 7-year background check and possess the flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally for training sessions or project team meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming daily field data to verify accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and QC standards.
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to import field codes, manage survey points, develop surface models, and draft final deliverables.
  • Assist with data processing for route surveys, boundary analysis, and construction layouts, and prepare survey plats, alignment drawings, and right-of-way descriptions.
  • Maintain clean, secure, and logical file structures for all incoming field data, active drawings, and final archives, with consistent communication across field and office teams.
