Job summary

Patriot Surveying & Infrastructure seeks a meticulous Survey Data Technician to support large-scale infrastructure projects nationwide. You will bridge field operations and client deliverables, processing, administering, and coordinating survey data daily in an office environment.

Detailed data handling using AutoCAD Civil 3D with a focus on accuracy, surface modeling, and deliverable drafting. Willingness to travel occasionally; driving required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work on Continental United States infrastructure projects.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR; pass drug screen and 7-year background check; ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming daily field data for accuracy, completeness and QC against project specs.
• Identify and document data inconsistencies; collaborate with PMs, Field Supervisors and crews to resolve.
• Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to import field codes, manage survey points, create surface models and drafts.
• Assist with data processing for route surveys, boundary analysis and construction layouts.
• Support production team with deed research, record maps and deed plotting to establish boundaries.
• Maintain organized, secure, and logical file structures for field data, drawings and archives.
• Communicate openly across field and office teams to meet client demands and project timelines.
