Job description

As a Survey Tech at Hamilton, you will work on diverse projects within the surveying industry in a flexible and active work environment. Hamilton is looking for applicants interested in career-oriented work. Our diverse project scopes allow you to diversify your skill sets while working with other professionals such as environmental, construction/excavation, and regulatory teams across the business.

No experience necessary. Training provided.

Responsibilities

• Drive to and from sites daily.
• Set up, adjust, and operate survey equipment including: level, robotic total station, data collector, and GPS equipment.
• Measure distances, angles, and elevations for staking purposes.
• Utilize various surveying equipment to measure miscellaneous data.
• Follow Hamilton’s safety protocols.
• Effectively communicate with team leads.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and teach.
• Meet physical capabilities: lift 50 lbs.; drive lath with small sledge; be on feet for 4-5 hours at a time.
