Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a Survey Crew Chief role.
• Strong field experience in construction staking, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and as-built surveys.
• Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and stay within project budgets.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead field survey operations and execute work based on project scope and work orders.
• Partner with Project Managers to understand project goals, schedules, and budgets.
• Perform field surveys including construction staking, boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys.
• Collaborate with Licensed Land Surveyors to support boundary determinations.
• Interpret engineering plans and apply them in the field.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of field data, including notes, files, and site documentation.
• Maintain and operate survey equipment (Trimble GPS, total stations, data collectors).
• Transfer and manage field data within company systems.
• Build strong working relationships with team members and clients.
