Job Title: Survey Crew Chief

Job Description

As a Survey Crew Chief, you will be responsible for surveying land and collecting the necessary data to accurately assess various site characteristics. You will verify collected measurements and calculations, calculate heights, depths, relative positions, and property lines, and ensure that all findings are input into electronic systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of applicable boundary, topographical, utility, and construction survey work.
• Capability to conduct GPS, Topographic, Alta, Roadway, and Bridge surveys
• Experience with electronic data collection systems (training provided if needed).
• Professional Land Surveyor license preferred but not required.
• AutoCAD experience is highly desirable.

Work Environment

This is a field position requiring daily travel to collect surveying data. The role involves 90% fieldwork with very little overnight travel, occurring only a few times per year.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $40.00/hr.
