Job summary

gpac is assisting an outstanding engineering firm in Novi, MI in hiring a Survey Crew Chief to supervise a field survey crew across boundary traverses, location surveys, level runs, retracement surveys, and subdivisions. The role includes documenting all phases of survey work and coordinating with the office.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field surveying experience, strong mathematical skills, and the ability to work independently or with a team to meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of field surveying experience.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work independently and with a team and balance the workload to meet client expectations.
• Download and upload survey data to and from the office.
• Use and understand survey equipment such as total station, GPS and Data collectors.

Outstanding engineering firm in the area searching for a skilled Survey Crew Chief. The Survey Crew Chief will be the supervisor of a field survey crew engaged in various types of surveys including performing boundary traverses, location surveys, level runs, retracement surveys staking subdivisions, and commercial development. The Survey Crew Chief will document all phases of survey work.
