Job summary

My client is a growing civil engineering firm seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field crews on major projects in the Nashville area. The role requires hands-on surveying leadership and accurate data processing.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years on a survey crew, experience with boundary and topographic surveys, and familiarity with Carlson SurvCE, robotic total stations, and Trimble GPS equipment. A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mathematical calculations and field data checking.
• Lead survey crew as a Survey Crew Chief; preferred prior chief experience.
• Stake, mark plans, and adhere to specifications.
• Operate and control surveying instruments and calculators.

My Client is a growing, well-established multi-disciplined Civil engineering firm seeking a Survey Crew Chief to add to its talented staff. Qualified Candidates should have:

• 3-5+ years experience working on a survey crew for a Civil Engineering or Survey Firm.
• Perform mathematical calculations and field checking of data.
• Prior experience as a Survey Crew Chief preferred. Prior experience conducting boundary and topographic surveys required. Experience with Carlson SurvCE, Robotic total stations, and Trimble GPS equipment a plus.
• Well versed with staking, marking plans, and specifications.
• Experience in controlling the function of surveying instruments and calculators.
• Valid Driver's License.
