Job summary

Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. is seeking a field survey crew lead to join our team across multiple Midwest offices. You will perform topographic and boundary surveys, construction staking, and field data calculations while guiding two- and three-person crews.

Qualifying candidates have at least two years of survey experience, GPS and robotics proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience providing topographic and boundary surveys and construction staking.
• Experience with GPS and robotics is required.
• Candidates must possess either a high school diploma or GED certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead two- and three-person survey crews in the field to provide topographic and boundary surveys and construction staking.
• Calculate and record field data as part of surveying activities.

This is an ongoing hiring opportunity that may be filled at any of the following Kaw Valley Engineering offices:

• Lenexa, KS
• Junction City, KS
• Emporia, KS
• Salina, KS

The successful candidate should possess the ability to work independently, as well as lead two- and three-person survey crews in the field to provide topographic and boundary surveys as well as construction staking. Calculating and recording field data is required.

Qualifications

• A minimum oftwo (2) years of experience providing topographic and boundary surveys and construction staking.
• Experience with GPS and robotics is required.
• Candidates must possess either a high school diploma or GED certificate.
• Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
