Job summary

Kaw Valley Engineering is hiring for a survey crew member across multiple offices including Kansas City, MO, Garden City, KS, and Salina, KS. The role involves supporting boundary, ALTA, topographic, ROW, and construction surveys using the latest equipment.

The candidate will join a team in a collaborative environment with opportunities to contribute to field data collection, surveying tasks, and site visits. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

• Experience helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist surveying crew in boundary, ALTA, topographic, right‑of‑way, and construction surveys.
• Operate and support surveying equipment and data collection.
• Work in a team environment across Kaw Valley Engineering offices.
• Ability to stoop, crawl, bend, squat and lift up to 50 lbs.

This is an hiring opportunity that may be filled at any of the following Kaw Valley Engineering offices:

• Kansas City, MO
• Garden City, KS
• Salina, KS
• The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment as a member of a survey crew assisting in the performance of boundary, ALTA, topographic, right-of-way acquisition, transportation, and construction surveys utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technology.
• The successful candidate must be able to stoop, crawl, bend at the knees and waist, squat and lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED certificate and a valid driver's license is required.
• Experience helpful but not necessary.
