Kaw Valley Engineering, Inc. in Kansas seeks a Geotechnical Driller to perform soil and subsurface drilling to support geotechnical investigations and construction projects.

This role operates and maintains drilling equipment, collects soil and rock samples, and assists with field testing and documentation. Applicants should be comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions, performing physical work, and traveling to job sites as needed.

Formación

• Experience with solid and hollow stem auger, mud rotary, SPT sampling, and rock coring.
• Ability to classify soils and document field observations.
• Willingness to travel to multiple job sites and work outdoors.

Responsabilidades

• Perform soil and subsurface drilling to support geotechnical investigations and construction projects.
• Operate and maintain drilling equipment and collect soil/rock samples.
• Assist with field testing and documentation, including proper record keeping.

Job Description

The Geotechnical Driller is responsible for performing soil and subsurface drilling to support geotechnical investigations and construction projects. This role operates and maintains drilling equipment, collects soil and rock samples, and assists with field testing and documentation. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions, performing physical work, and traveling to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

Driller’s experience should include:
