Key Responsibilities

• Work independently or with a survey crew, utilizing GPS and a robotic Total Station to perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and construction staking.
• Plan and evaluate proposed survey projects with Survey Project Managers and licensed Surveyors.
• Manage a survey field crew, train new personnel, and oversee safety for the crew and yourself.
• Maintain and care for survey equipment.
• Communicate effectively with Stonefield staff, clients, contractors and the general public.

Qualifications

• 3 years experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Experience performing boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS land title surveys, and construction staking.
• Experience with Trimble survey equipment preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Carlson Survey preferred.
• Past survey coursework or seminar attendance preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivation.
• Willingness to travel.
