Survey Crew Chief

Overview

As a Survey Crew Chief for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you will work independently and with crew members conducting field surveys such as boundary, ALTA/ACSM Land Title, topographic, photo control, route, and construction stakeout surveys under the supervision of a Registered Professional Surveyor. Your responsibilities include operating robotic total stations and GPS receivers, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety standards. You will also assist with crew scheduling, developing deed and base maps, and courthouse research.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of survey experience
• Skilled in GPS devices, data collectors, and Total Stations
• Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
• Knowledge of land surveying principles and practices
• Knowledge of computer-aided drafting and civil engineering principles
• Understanding of construction specifications, plans, and regulations
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices
• Ability to operate motorized equipment
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
• Valid Driver's License
