What You'll Do

As a Survey Crew Chief at Triad, reporting to the Survey Practice Leader, you will lead field operations by planning, organizing, and directing the daily work of the survey crew. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Prioritizing safety at all times
• Collaborating with the Survey Supervisor and/or practice leader to schedule and coordinate fieldwork
• Supervising the survey crew, evaluating priorities, and organizing work efforts independently
• Ensuring survey activities comply with standard procedures, state statutes, and ACSM standards
• Maintaining equipment through cleaning, preventative maintenance, and calibrations
• Communicating effectively with professional staff regarding projects
• Participating in business development and customer service activities

Desired Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Additional coursework in mathematics and surveying
• At least 4 years of progressive experience working on a survey crew
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments
