Job summary

ESP is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead field crews in Fort Mill, SC. The role emphasizes organization, supervision of conventional, robotic, and GPS surveying projects, and travel including lodging and per diem when needed.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in land surveying, an associate degree in surveying/geomatics or related field, and familiarity with Trimble tools and CAD software. DOT/route experience is a plus; drug screen and driving record checks apply.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying, preferred.
• Associate's degree in surveying/geomatics, civil engineering or related field preferred.
• SIT or PLS preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, navigational programs, CADD programs and Trimble Business Center preferred.
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers and robotic total stations considered a plus.
• DOT and route survey experience considered a plus.
• Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy.

ESP is currently recruiting for a Survey Crew Chief in Fort Mill, SC. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing Engineering, Surveying and Planning firm!

Responsibilities:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to supervise field crews during various conventional, robotic and GPS land surveying projects
• Position does include out-of-town travel for which meal per diem, and lodging are provided.
