Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in Fort Mill, SC.

The role focuses on leading field crews across conventional, robotic, and GPS surveying projects, with responsibilities including organization, supervision, and coordinating travel when assignments require staying away from home. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in land surveying, an associate degree in a related field, and familiarity with Trimble tools and CAD software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying preferred.
• Associate's degree in surveying/geomatics, civil engineering or related field preferred.
• SIT or PLS preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, navigational programs, CADD programs and Trimble Business Center preferred.
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers and robotic total stations is a plus.
• DOT and route survey experience is a plus.
• Candidates must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record per the company's MVR policy.

ESP is currently recruiting for a Survey Crew Chief in Fort Mill, SC. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established and growing Engineering, Surveying and Planning firm!

Responsibilities:

• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Demonstrated ability to supervise field crews during various conventional, robotic and GPS land surveying projects
• Position does include out-of-town travel for which meal per diem, and lodging are provided.
