Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking a Survey Crew Chief in Greensboro, NC to lead field crews on traditional, robotic, and GPS surveying projects. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to supervise crews effectively in a dynamic field environment.

The position involves out-of-town travel with meals provided and lodging arrangements as part of the assignment. A background in land surveying and exposure to Trimble tools will be a plus for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying
• Associate’s degree in surveying/geomatics or related field preferred
• SIT or PLS preferred but not required
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, navigational programs, CADD programs and Trimble Business Center preferred
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers and robotic total stations considered a plus
• DOT and route survey experience considered a plus
• Candidates must pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record per the company’s MVR policy

• Demonstrated ability to supervise field crews during various conventional, robotic and GPS land surveying projects
• Position does include out-of-town travel for which meal per diem, and lodging are provided.
