Job summary

Unknown Client in Damascus, MD seeks a Survey Crew Chief to perform construction layout, boundary, and topographic surveys. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of field leadership and hands-on experience with Trimble robotic equipment and Trimble Access data collectors.

You will lead surveying activities in the field and work at local project sites with no overnight travel. Equipment will be provided and there is potential for permanent placement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief.
• Experience with construction layout surveys.
• Experience conducting boundary surveys.
• Experience conducting topographic surveys.
• Familiarity with Trimble robotic surveying equipment.
• Experience using Trimble Access data collectors.
• Strong understanding of surveying practices, field procedures, and construction plans.
• Ability to work independently and lead surveying activities in the field.
• Willingness to work at local project sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing construction layout, boundary surveys, and topographic surveys. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a Survey Crew Chief, strong communication skills, and hands‑on experience with Trimble robotic surveying equipment and Trimble Access data collectors.

This position is a Temp To Possible Permanent positionwith all projects located locally. No overnight travel or overtime is required, and all surveying equipment will be provided.
