Job summary

Impact Recruitment is working with a multi-disciplinary civil engineering and land surveying firm in Chicago to identify a skilled Survey Crew Chief. You will perform boundary and topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, and construction staking for both residential and commercial projects using Trimble GNSS RTK GPS and Robotic Total Station.

Strong math skills and precise sketch verification are essential, with AutoCAD Civil 3D experience considered a plus although not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of surveying experience; LSI/PLS not required but a plus.
• Experience using Trimble GNSS RTK GPS system and Trimble Robotic Total Station.
• Experience in boundary, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, construction staking for residential and commercial projects.
• Knowledge of land survey terminology and field survey methods; accurate calculations and sketches.

Impact Recruitment is working with a multi-disciplined civil engineering and land surveying firm that has delivered high-quality solutions for land and site development. We are looking for a Survey Crew Chief with the following:

• 2+ years' experience LSI or PLS not required, but a plus.
• Experience using Trimble GNSS RTK GPS system.
• Using Trimble Robotic Total Station.
• Experience in boundary, topographic surveys, ALTA surveys, construction staking, and other surveys for both residential and commercial projects.
• Knowledge of mathematical principles, land survey terminology and field survey methods and techniques, calculate and verify computations and create and verify sketches and be accurate and complete work in a timely manner.
• Experience in AutoCad Civil3d not required, but a plus.
• Successful applicant will be essential to our clients team with excellent pay commensurate with qualifications, and experience.
