This dynamic position offers the opportunity to work with Survey Project Managers and licensed Surveyors to plan and evaluate proposed survey projects, manage a survey field crew, and perform survey fieldwork on a variety of projects for Stonefield clients.
The Survey Crew Chief works independently or with team members, utilizing GPS and robotic Total Station to perform Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and Construction Staking. The ideal candidate will be familiar with survey and general engineering language to communicate effectively with staff, clients, contractors, and the public. Responsibilities also include maintaining survey equipment, ensuring safety on-site, and training new personnel.
