Pickett,an ESP Associates company, isa highly innovative surveying and engineering company with over 60 years of industry experience serving clients throughout the US and Caribbean.

As a Survey CAD Technician, you will produce land survey drawings and map substitutes from inception to completion with minimal supervision, handling field data, calculations, and QA/QC to ensure accurate deliverables for diverse projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Two-year CAD program (asset).
• 3–5 years surveying/mapping experience with AutoCAD or similar CAD software (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (required).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and surveying software; experience with Trimble; Excel, Google Earth, GIS and GPS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare maps and drawings from survey field data including topographic, boundary, route, site plans and as-built drawings.
• Adjust field calculations and reductions; perform typical coordinate geometry calculations.
• Post process static GPS data and integrate RTK/GPS data into projects.
• QA/QC on deliverables; research survey data and ensure compatibility with adjacent properties.
• Mprepare reference data for field crew and support field operations.
