Pickett, an ESP Associates company, is a highly innovative surveying and engineering firm with over 60 years in the industry serving clients across the US and Caribbean.

We are seeking a Survey CAD Technician to produce land survey drawings and map substitutes from start to finish with minimal supervision, using AutoCAD and related surveying tools while ensuring QA/QC on final deliverables.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent.
• Two-year CAD program is preferred.
• 3–5 years of surveying and mapping experience with AutoCAD or similar.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Proficient with AutoCAD and surveying software; technical math skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare maps and drawings from survey field data, including various survey types.
• Reduce field notes, check reductions and calculations.
• Perform coordinate geometry calculations and adjustments.
• Post-process static GPS data and integrate GPS data into projects.
• QA/QC on deliverables and ensure compatibility with adjacent surveys.
• Travel as needed and communicate findings effectively.
