Job summary

Pickett, an ESP Associates company, invites a Survey CAD Technician to join our engineering team in Florida. You will produce land survey drawings and map substitutes from field data, using AutoCAD, GIS and Trimble tools. Expect opportunities to perform coordinate geometry, post-process GPS data, and ensure quality control across projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-year CAD drafting program preferred.
• 3–5 years of surveying/mapping experience with AutoCAD or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Produce land survey drawings and map substitutes from data.
• Prepare maps: topo, route, boundary, base maps, exhibits, site plans, as-builts, quantities.
• Perform coordinate geometry calculations and adjust field computations as needed.
• Post-process GPS data and integrate Trimble data.
• Conduct QA/QC on deliverables and ensure compatibility with adjacent surveys.
