Job summary

Bowman in Waco, TX is seeking a Survey CAD Technician II to join our team. You will assist in preparing project deliverables, convert field data into accurate drawings, and support boundary and ALTA survey tasks under supervision.

You’ll work with senior staff to learn design methods, perform computations, and help produce final survey documents while adhering to Bowman’s standards and client requirements. Excellent detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of survey and/or CAD experience in land development.
• High school diploma or GED; an associate degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Carlson, Bentley Inroads/Geopak and Revit software.

Responsibilities

• Convert information into digitally generated drawings and project documents with accuracy.
• Compute horizontal positions for boundary surveys and stakeouts.
• Draft final house location surveys from field notes and measurements.
• Perform complex survey computations for traverse, plats, and boundaries.
• Assist in learning design work under supervision and oversee QA by senior staff.
