Churchill Downs Incorporated at Owensboro Racing & Gaming seeks a Surveillance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install surveillance systems and related electronics across the property. You will ensure cameras, digital systems, radios, and networks operate reliably to support a safe gaming environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and collaboration with team members in a fast-paced entertainment setting, with on-call duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in audio/video equipment repair or network maintenance.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance to keep surveillance equipment and systems operating efficiently.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair surveillance cameras, digital systems, and other related electronic equipment.
• Install new surveillance equipment throughout the property to support operational needs.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions and provide technical support, including on-call assistance as needed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and program handheld radios and mobile base stations used by the Surveillance Department.
• Review service requests and trouble reports to identify issues and determine the best solutions.
