Job summary

Responsibilities

Shift: 7am- 3pm | Pay: $19.00 per hour

• Adheres to all departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Responsible for performing a wide variety of diagnoses and repairs of surveillance equipment.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic surveillance equipment malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
• Replaces parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions; may repair some circuit boards, with assistance.
• Communicates with dispatchers and other technicians to efficiently manage open calls.
• Maintains moderate skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions, with possible advanced skills in either.
• Performs general and preventive maintenance on all surveillance equipment.
• Responsible for the inspection, installation, and removal of all casino surveillance equipment.
• Researches, analyzes, and makes recommendations regarding best practices and equipment.
• Identifies, pulls, and labels various alarm, CAT 6, and fiber optic cables.
• Responsible for troubleshooting system-related problems.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certification in Electronics Engineering or related field and six (6) months of Electronics/Surveillance experience required; or minimum one (1) year of surveillance equipment repair experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have knowledge of surveillance equipment and installation/maintenance.
• Must have a general understanding of electronics as well as mechanical and electronic processes.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
• Knowledge of casino games and operations preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Must have strong technical computer skills and be knowledgeable in computer networks, programming, and troubleshooting of systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with issues.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to move effectively and efficiently around work area.
• Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and fluctuating days off.
