Job summary

Caesars Entertainment in Black Hawk, Colorado, seeks a Surveillance Technician Supervisor to lead the surveillance maintenance and operations on the assigned shift, ensuring compliance with state regulations and internal controls.

You will guide technicians, manage system upgrades, and uphold confidentiality while protecting assets. This role requires strong leadership, deep VMS/IP camera expertise, and coordination with security and operations teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or related training preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of surveillance technician experience in a casino gaming environment.
• Minimum one (1) year of leadership, lead technician, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Thorough working knowledge of digital surveillance systems, including video management systems (VMS), IP cameras, recording platforms, and video analytics.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, network troubleshooting, switches, routers, fiber optics, and structured cabling.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting surveillance hardware and software systems.
• Knowledge of server environments, operating systems, storage solutions, and system backups as they relate to surveillance operations.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues while minimizing operational downtime.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics, equipment manuals, and system documentation.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide technical guidance to team members and communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to Surveillance Technician team members.
• Oversee surveillance maintenance, repair, and upgrades of surveillance systems.
• Delegate responsibilities, assign tasks, and coach team members.
• Complete performance evaluations and issue disciplinary action when required.
• Maintain communication with the Director of Surveillance on activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with departmental leaders as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding financial information, internal controls, and investigations.
• Maintain knowledge of all surveillance systems.
• Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.
• Maintain professional demeanor and keep work areas clean and compliant.
• Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
