Job summary

Colonial Downs Group in New Kent, Virginia seeks a Surveillance Technician responsible for maintaining and supporting the property’s surveillance systems, including installation, testing, alignment, and repair.

You will ensure compliance with gaming laws and company policies, review video feeds, conduct preventative maintenance, and assist the Surveillance Operator as needed; a Virginia license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational certifications preferred.
• Three years of computer/technology experience and familiarity with Word/Excel.
• Must obtain Virginia Racing Commission license and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical support and troubleshooting for surveillance systems to maintain operations.
• Implements preventative maintenance to reduce system failures.
• Installs, configures, repairs, and maintains cameras, servers, and recording devices.
• Educates users to reduce recurring issues with surveillance solutions.
• Reviews video footage to analyze reports and investigations; maintains asset records.
• Ensures compliance with gaming laws, regulations, and company policies.
