Live! Casino & Hotel in Maryland is seeking a Surveillance Shift Manager to lead the Surveillance team, supervise daily shift operations, and ensure the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance around the clock.

You will oversee CCTV and alarm monitoring, manage staffing across shifts, and collaborate with managers to safeguard assets and maintain a trusted gaming environment.

Qualifications

• Two year associate or technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Four to eight years’ experience in table games and casino surveillance.
• Flexibility with work schedule; extended hours may be required.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain required Maryland license.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of Surveillance Supervisors, Operators and/or Technicians on an assigned shift.
• Oversees monitoring and operations of CCTV and alarm systems.
• Manages staff scheduling and maintains staffing levels across all shifts.
• Protects casino assets and enforces internal controls for safety and security.
• Reviews department actions and processes with Manager.
• Monitors department logistics and compiles relevant reports.

Your ability to guide Surveillance team members, oversee critical monitoring systems, and enforce regulatory and internal control standards ensures that the property remains secure and compliant around the clock. Through vigilant observation, decisive action, and strong supervision of daily shift operations, you help safeguard company assets, support a fair and trustworthy gaming environment, and uphold the high standards of professionalism and accountability that define the Live! brand.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Supervises a team of Surveillance Supervisors, Operators and/or Technicians in performance of their duties on an assigned shift.
• Responsible for supervising the monitoring and operations of CCTV and alarm systems.
• Supervision of staff to include shift scheduling and maintaining proper staffing levels across all shifts.
• Supervises department team members and procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and the guests.
• Review surveillance department actions, personnel and processes with Manager.
• Understand all department operational logistics and supervise, monitor and report as appropriate.
• Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Two (2) year associates degree or technical degree in a related fields or equivalent work experience.
• Four (4) to eight (8) years’ experience in table games and casino surveillance.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
• Must have excellent vision and hearing.
• Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
• Must be able to stand and walk 30% of the time.

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees.
• Exposed to alcohol, cigarette and cigar smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
• You will work in an environment where smoking is allowed.
