Job summary

GardaWorld Security is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer in Allentown, PA. You will monitor security systems, document incidents, and respond to potential threats while maintaining a vigilant, detail-oriented approach on site.

The role offers a part-time schedule, Saturdays and Sundays 6am–2pm, at $18 per hour, with full benefits, PTO, 401(k) matching, and uniform provided. Prior security or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. with proof of HS diploma or GED.
• Adequate to pass an extensive screening process.
• Strong report-writing skills and attention to detail.
• Sharp visual concentration and proficiency with security technology.
• Prior Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience is a plus; state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities.
• Analyze systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations.
• Ensure safety and protection of people and property.
