Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services in New York is seeking a Global Command Center Operator to monitor security systems, spot threats, and document incidents in a fast-paced SOC environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in a command center (SOC/GSOC), hands-on Genetec and CCURE 9000 experience, a New York Security License, strong report writing skills, and the ability to work Sunday–Thursday night shifts at our Manhattan location. GardaWorld offers competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a command center/SOC/GSOC environment
• 2+ years in a supervisory role in a command center/SOC/GSOC
• Experience with Genetec Video Software and CCURE 9000 Access Control
• New York Security License required
• Ability to interact with sites in multiple states/countries
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong report writing skills
• High proficiency with technology

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity using Genetec
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Control access to secure areas and verify identities using CCURE 9000
• Analyze systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies
• Ensure safety of individuals and property

Responsibilities Of a Global Command Center Supervisor

• Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity using Genetec
• Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Control access to secure areas and verify the identities of visitors using CCURE 9000
• Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Qualifications Of a Surveillance Security Guard

• 2+ years working in a command center, SOC, and/or GSOC environment
• 2+ years working in a command center, SOC, and/or GSOC environment as a supervisor
• 2+ years working with Genetec Video Software and CCURE 9000 Access Control
• New York Security License required
• Interact with sites in multiple countries / multiple states
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Strong report writing skills
• Strong proficiency with technology
