Responsibilities

• Responds to calls requesting surveillance coverage.
• Conducts surveillance through CCTV to observe, report and record violations.
• Communicates violations promptly to supervisory personnel with documentation.
• Prepares additional reports as needed.
• Conducts tape reviews as assigned.
• Ensures compliance with State Lottery Regulations and policies.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust within the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

Please Note: This role is for our Swing Shift 4pm-12am) The pay for this position is $16.50 per hour.Exciting opportunity to work at Ocean Downs Casino only 10 minutes from the beautiful beaches and boardwalk of Ocean City, MD! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responds to calls requesting the need for surveillance coverage.
• Conducts surveillance through the CCTV system utilizing the necessary equipment to observe, report and record procedural violations and unusual activities.
• Communicates violations in a timely manner to appropriate supervisory personnel and follows up with accurate and detailed documentation.
• Prepares additional reports as needed.
• Conducts tape reviews as assigned.
• Responsible for compliance with State Lottery Regulations, Internal Controls and company Policies & Procedures.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Previous experience in casino surveillance preferred.
• Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.
• Must be able to obtain and keep a License issued by the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time without difficulty.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.
