Job summary

A gaming and entertainment company in Bossier City seeks Surveillance Operators to ensure security through physical and video monitoring of gaming areas. Candidates should have a High School Diploma and the ability to handle a fast-paced environment. Previous surveillance or law enforcement experience is beneficial, but not required. The role requires obtaining a gaming license and tolerating a lively, often noisy atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous surveillance, security, law enforcement, and or corrections experience is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to obtain LA gaming license.
• Must be able to learn, comprehend, and maintain fundamental knowledge of the surveillance department.
• Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for physical and video surveillance of the activities of customers and employees.
• Observes and reports all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property.
• Operates monitor room equipment and monitors slot equipment.
• Maintains video surveillance of the casino and records irregular activity.
• Learns all games and procedures involved in the surveillance department.

• Responsible for physical and video surveillance of the activities of customers and employees in all gaming and money handling areas.
• Observes and reports all gaming violations and/or thefts of company property.
• Operates monitor room equipment, including basic computer functions; monitors slot equipment of SIS System to provide security for company assets and funds.
• Maintains video surveillance of the entire casino (e.g., Gaming Floor, Race/Sports Book, Food and Beverage outlets, cashiers, Count Rooms, parking lots, hotel/casino complex, etc.); records any irregular activity as required.
• Learns all games in use at the property, and all procedures and cheating indicators of those games; learns and uses various card count systems.
