Maverick Gaming is seeking a Surveillance Observer in Elko, NV to protect assets through camera systems. The role requires shift flexibility, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with housing available after 90 days. On-the-job training provided, no prior experience required.

The position offers benefits and opportunities for growth within the surveillance department. Must be 21+ and able to obtain Nevada Gaming Control Board registration.

Qualifications

• Cash handling and knowledge of state gambling regulations.
• Ability to read and understand documentation.
• Strong communication with staff and guests.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dispatch security to incidents observed.
• Maintain knowledge of table game procedures.
• Ensure equipment is operating at start, during, and end of shift.
• Report incidents to Surveillance Manager.
• Maintain confidentiality of casino information.
• Communicate incidents to pit personnel clearly.
• Assist in ongoing surveillance training.
• Operate surveillance cameras and equipment.
• Prepare incident reports and maintain logs.
