Job summary

Edgewater Gaming, LLC is seeking a Surveillance Investigator to safeguard the integrity, safety, and compliance of our casino property in Laughlin, NV. You will monitor for unusual or illegal activity across gaming and non-gaming areas and report findings to maintain secure, fair operations.

You will work with a team to uphold Title 31 and applicable regulations, assist in training trainees, and provide courteous guest service while protecting guests, team members, and company assets.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in gaming surveillance operations or equivalent gaming-related experience preferred.
• Ability to think critically and solve problems with limited standardization, using common sense and sound judgment.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safety-conscious work environment.
• Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous guest service consistent with the company's guest service culture
• Utilize approved surveillance equipment to identify, document, and report illegal or unusual activity across all gaming and non-gaming areas of the property, including back-of-house operations
• Accurately report all illegal and suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities in a timely manner
• Assist in the training and mentoring of Surveillance Investigator trainees
• Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
• Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

• This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
• Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
• Verify right to work in the United States
