Job summary

Aquarius Gaming, LLC is seeking a Surveillance Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Surveillance department and lead a team committed to integrity, safety, and compliance with gaming laws and internal controls.

You will supervise staff, coordinate investigations, manage surveillance technology, and partner with department heads and executive leadership to address high-risk matters while ensuring accurate reporting and guest service excellence.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of surveillance, security, or gaming industry experience; includes leadership or progressive responsibility in investigations, compliance, or security operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels

Summary

As the Surveillance Manager, you play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity, safety, and reputation of the organization. You are responsible for the daily operations and direct supervision of all activities within the Surveillance department. Your leadership ensures that all surveillance procedures are executed with precision, aligning with regulatory standards and internal policies.

Job Description
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Recruit, onboard, schedule, coach, evaluate, and manage department staff to support high performance, engagement, and alignment with company standards and service excellence.
  • Drive the execution of strategic initiatives by translating organizational goals into actionable plans, ensuring team alignment, accountability, and timely delivery under the guidance of division leadership.
  • Establish and uphold service standards within assigned department(s), ensuring consistent delivery that meets or exceeds guest expectations and operational goals
  • Monitor daily surveillance activity to detect, investigate, and document potential violations of gaming laws, internal controls, and property rules, including reviewing all daily incident reports and coordinating audits or close watches
  • Lead and oversee special investigations, assigning tasks and supporting investigators with case development, report writing, and resolution strategies
  • Manage surveillance technology and equipment operations, coordinating with technical staff to ensure system integrity and timely response to operational issues
  • Serve as liaison with department heads and executive leadership to provide intelligence findings, coordinate cross-departmental initiatives, and escalation high-risk matters as needed
  • Oversee payroll and related administrative duties to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • 3 years of surveillance, security, or gaming industry experience; includes leadership or progressive responsibility in investigations, compliance, or security operations
  • Proven track record of effective decision-making under pressure and in dynamic environments
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to influence, coach, and resolve conflict across all levels of the organization
  • Ability to adapt leadership style to support changing business needs and team dynamics
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing workplace culture
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Skilled in prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities to meet deadlines and drive results
  • 3 years of surveillance, security, or gaming industry experience; includes leadership or progressive responsibility in investigations, compliance, or security operations
  • Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word; familiarity with collaboration tools like Microsoft Teams
Requirements
  • This position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana
  • At least 21 Years of Age
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
  • Obtain and maintain all work cards as required by the company
  • Verify right to work in the United States
